Job Description:

As a Senior Product Manager at Freelaneer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our product strategy, development, and execution, with a focus on creating a standout marketplace that addresses the needs of both freelancers and clients. This is a unique opportunity to impact the gig economy positively and be at the forefront of Freelaneer’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision: Craft and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that supports Freelaneer’s mission and business objectives. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with user needs and market opportunities.
• Marketplace Dynamics: Understand the nuances of the freelance marketplace, including the challenges and opportunities for freelancers and clients. Use this knowledge to inform product features and improvements.
• User-Centric Design: Lead the product design process, ensuring the platform is intuitive and engaging, and addresses the pain points of freelancers and clients. Incorporate user feedback and usability testing into the design process.
• Feature Development & Prioritization: Identify, prioritize, and define key features and functionalities that drive value for users and differentiation in the market. Manage the product backlog and ensure timely and impactful delivery.
• Cross-functional leadership: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product goals are met. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the platform and monitor product performance. Use insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Community Engagement: Engage with the freelancer and client community to gather feedback, build advocacy, and ensure the platform meets their evolving needs.
• Competitive Analysis: Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Use this information to adapt and innovate the product offering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in online marketplaces, tech startups, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product strategies in a marketplace or platform setting.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the freelance economy and empathy for freelancers and clients.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote working environment.

Our work setting:

• Office-based in Sylhet
• Compensation ranges from Tk. 40,000 to Tk. 80,000 per month during the probation period of 3 months.

• 6 days/week, 10 AM-7 PM office hours with an hour break.
